Joint Office Headlines
The Joint Office celebrates reaching 200,000 public charging ports available nationwide. The national network is well ahead of schedule to meet the Biden-Harris administration’s goal of 500,000 chargers by 2030.
The first EV charging project in the country funded by the Electric Vehicle Charger Reliability and Accessibility program is now open in Blue Earth, Minnesota. With the upgrades complete, a revamped DC fast charger and Level 2 charger make EV charging more reliable near where people live, work, and play.
Resource Spotlight
Earlier this year, we hosted a webinar with the National Charging Experience Consortium (ChargeX Consortium). Leaders presented the latest findings from recent publications, including best practices for payment systems and recommendations for minimum required error codes. Experts covered cutting-edge topics and key concepts in EV charging, including interoperability, planning resources, and new trends in the industry. Watch the recording and find more ChargeX publications.
New Resources
The EVI-RoadTrip Lite tool estimates the number and type of charging ports needed, as well as the associated energy consumption, to support long-distance travel of 100 miles or more along highway corridors in a given state or county.
