DOE's Voucher Program is Now Open for Submissions!

The DOE Voucher Program is now open for submissions from potential recipients of in-kind commercialization support across a variety of categories, such as technoeconomic analysis, performance testing, certification, siting and permitting, market assessment, and more. The goal of the Voucher Program is to lower barriers for small businesses and other nontraditional partners that may not have the in-house resources or funds needed to deliver their impactful, clean energy technologies to market. Seven voucher opportunities (VOs) tailored to various commercialization needs technology areas are available:

VO-2: Performance Validation, Modeling, and Certification Support (OCED)

VO-3: Clean Energy Demonstration Project Siting and Permitting Support (OCED/EERE)

Since the program launch in July of 2023, DOE has supported 111 entities with nearly $10 million in federal funding to address adoption risks and advance clean energy technology commercialization. These in-kind resources are provided by 33 supporting organizations, including six National Labs, in the form of DOE-funded vouchers. You don’t want to miss your chance on receiving this support!
The Voucher Program is led by the DOE Office of Technology Transitions in collaboration with the Offices of Clean Energy Demonstrations, Fossil Energy and Carbon Management, and Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
