This report includes a summary of findings from the 2023 Project Peer Review, a biannual event held in Denver, Colorado, which brings together more than 50 external subject-matter experts from industry, academia, and federal agencies to participate on review panels.
Reviewers provided recommendations on technology RD&D strategies for 11 primary technology areas within BETO’s portfolio, including:
- Advanced Algal Systems Program
- Biochemical Conversion and Lignin Utilization
- Agile BioFoundry Consortium
- Catalytic Upgrading
- Carbon Dioxide Utilization
- Data, Modeling, and Analysis Program
- Performance-Advantaged Bioproducts, Bioprocessing Separations, and Plastics
- Organic Waste Conversion
- Feedstock Technologies Program
- Feedstock-Conversion Interface Consortium
- Systems Development & Integration Program
In addition to this newly released summary report, presentations from individual technology sessions are available for download on BETO’s website.
The next Project Peer Review conference will be scheduled for Spring 2025.
