|
Please join the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for the Clean Fuels & Products Shot™ Summit on April 8, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET, and April 9, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET.
The Clean Fuels & Products Shot, the seventh of DOE’s Energy Earthshots™, aims to lower carbon emissions from the fuels and chemicals industry by using more environmentally friendly carbon sources, targeting a minimum reduction of 85% in greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil-based sources by 2035. Additionally, the Energy Earthshot aims to meet 2050 projected demand for 100% of aviation fuel; 50% of maritime, rail, and off-road fuel; and 50% of carbon-based chemicals by using sustainable carbon resources.
This virtual event will convene stakeholders to provide updates on the objectives, progress, priorities, and future plans for the Shot.
