The submission window is now open for the first five voucher opportunities from DOE's new Voucher Program, developed by OTT in partnership with OCED, FECM, and EERE. DOE is investing over $30 million dollars to connect U.S. entrepreneurs, businesses, technology developers, local governments, and other partners with third-party voucher providers to advance demonstration and commercialization of innovative energy technologies.
This is a call to all businesses, non-profits, National Labs, and others providing commercialization support in the clean energy space. DOE needs you as part of our new voucher program run in collaboration with ENERGYWERX. We are looking for entities offering support related to one of these 5 voucher opportunities:
- Voucher Opportunity 1: Pre-Demonstration Commercialization Support (OCED/EERE)
- Voucher Opportunity 2: Performance Validation, Modeling, and Certification Support (OCED/EERE)
- Voucher Opportunity 3: Clean Energy Demonstration Project Siting/Permitting Support (OCED/EERE)
- Voucher Opportunity 4: Commercialization Support (EERE)
- Voucher Opportunity 5: Commercialization Support (FECM)
Vouchers can be used to access test-bed performance validation capabilities, industry certification testing, technical and business maturation services, siting/permitting support, and other commercialization assistance. For more details on the 5 voucher opportunities currently available, read here.
If you are interested, apply through ENERGYWERX by September 26, 2023, to be considered as one of our voucher providers. EnergyWerx will host an informational webinar on September 12, 2023, for potential voucher providers and recipients to discuss the scope, scale, and intent of the program and facilitate Q&A with DOE staff. Sign up for the webinar.
A second submission window will open in October to solicit requests from potential voucher recipients. Sign up at energywerx.org for updates if you are interested in receiving support!
