On March 22, 2023, the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) issued a call for nominations for the 2023 Presidential Federal Sustainability Awards.
The Presidential Federal Sustainability Awards celebrates extraordinary leadership, innovation, and progress of federal agencies and their employees toward achievement of President Biden’s sustainability goals. These goals were set forth through his historic Federal Sustainability Plan and Executive Order 14057, which put the government on a path to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
Federal programs, projects, project teams, facilities, and individuals are eligible for nomination by their agency. Awardees will be recognized this fall at an awards ceremony in Washington, DC.
Nominations will be accepted until June 30, 2023.
