This Week! Webinar on Cost-Effectively Optimizing and Scaling Bioenergy Technologies
If you’re interested in modeling and simulation to optimize your bioenergy technologies for commercialization, then this webinar is for you!
Join the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) and the Consortium for Computational Physics and Chemistry (CCPC) this week on October 20, 2022, from 1–2 p.m. ET, for the Cost-Effectively Optimize and Scale Bioenergy Technologies with the Consortium for Computational Physics and Chemistry webinar. Attendees will learn how experts at DOE national laboratories apply fundamental science and high-performance computing to improve bioenergy products and processes.
The webinar will feature the Oak Ridge National Laboratory principal investigator, as well as three industry leaders who will share their experiences working with CCPC on science-based solutions to accelerate scale-up and application of their products.
The following speakers will present at the webinar:
-
Jim Parks: CCPC Principal Investigator and Section Head for Energy and Industrial Decarbonization at Oak Ridge National Laboratory
-
Jim Dooley: Chief Technology Officer of Forest Concepts, LLC
-
Joaquín Alarcon: President and CEO of Catalyxx Inc.
-
Kevin Barnett: Chief Technology Officer of Pyran Co.
Register today to learn how you can use CCPC’s modeling and simulation capabilities to advance your company’s bioenergy technologies.
BETO supports research, development, and demonstration to enable the sustainable use of domestic biomass and waste resources for the production of biofuels and bioproducts. BETO is part of DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
