EV BASICS WEBINAR on August 11

The U.S. Department of Energy launched the EVGrid Assist: Accelerating the Transition webinar series this summer to support decision makers planning for the future of transportation electrification. The webinars will provide timely information on a wide range of topics important to the integration of vehicles and the electric grid. Join us for the EV Basics webinar on Thursday, August 11 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm ET. Register here!

The EV Basics webinar will provide foundational knowledge, including information on different vehicle classes, their specific power and energy requirements, and how transportation electrification will impact the electric grid. The webinar will also provide an introduction to smart charge management and explain why it’s important. Join the webinar to demystify the language and jargon around EVs and to learn about charging technologies and the unique characteristics of different EV charging loads. This information can help stakeholders evaluate VGI options and plan for the successful integration of electric vehicles with the electricity grid. Register today at www.EVGridAssistWebinars.com.
