Job Opening: Deputy Director, Vehicle Technologies Office

The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) is hiring a Deputy Director for the Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO). As Deputy Director, you will develop strategies for research, development, demonstration, and deployment (RD3) programs; and lead execution of programs with public, private-sector and national labs to achieve cost-effective national energy, environment and economic goals through clean, efficient, sustainable transportation solutions.
VTO funds a broad portfolio of RD3 projects to develop affordable, efficient and clean transportation options to tackle the climate crisis and accelerate the development and widespread use of a variety of innovative transportation technologies.
