The next round of the American-Made Solar Prize is here! This time, with two tracks—a hardware track and a software track—and a new Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Contest. Applicants compete for $5 million in prizes. The deadline to apply is October 5. Find details at the informational webinar, listed below.
Applications are still being accepted for the two-stage, $3 million Perovskite Startup Prize. The competition seeks to fund projects that support the rapid development of perovskite solar cells for commercialization. The first application period closes June 30.
On June 7, DOE announced 22 small businesses selected to receive up to $200,000 to commercialize their solar innovations. These projects cover a range of topics, including solar for agriculture, floating photovoltaic systems, weatherproof or cybersecurity systems, components for thermal transport systems, and more.
The deadline is fast approaching to apply to lead the CdTe PV Accelerator Consortium. The consortium is designed to expand domestic CdTe PV material and module production, identify technology development priorities, and enable the commercialization of new technologies. Submit your proposals by June 19.
