This workshop focuses on the intersection of legal, ethical, and professional standards in social media use within employment law.
This workshops also examines its impact on employer and attorney responsibilities, discussing topics like social media in recruitment, handling misconduct and harassment online, and its role in litigation.
Important ethical issues, including privacy and confidentiality, will be highlighted. The session will emphasize the need for employment lawyers, HR, and EEO professionals to maintain civility, professionalism, and respect.
Adhering to these standards helps prevent breaches of ethical duties, ineffective management, and a hostile work environment, thereby reducing liability risks. Participants will gain practical strategies to identify and mitigate these risks effectively.
