Representatives of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will join several other governmental agencies in an Employer Forum on July 25, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The EEOC will join with the Arkansas Department of Labor, the U. S. Department of Labor (DOL) – Wage & Hour Division (WHD), Employee Benefit Security Administration (EBSA), Employment and Training Administration Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Veteran’s Employment and Training Service (VETS), the Small Business Administration (SBA), and the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration to provide information and assistance with federal and state programs and laws relevant to employers in Arkansas.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the UALR Donaghey Student Center – Ledbetter Ballroom, 3259 S. University Ave., Little Rock, AR 72204.

This event is a collaboration of agencies to create a one-stop shop for employers, including small businesses, to obtain the information, tools and resources they may need. The participating agencies offer a wide range of information and services including compliance assistance with equal employment laws and federal and state labor standards, information on certification to hire foreign workers, and information on programs and resources available to start or grow your business. In addition to an exhibit area where representatives from each agency will be available to answer questions employers may have, many of the agencies will present more detailed information in breakout sessions throughout the event.

The event is free and open to the public but pre-registration is requested. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You may register at: REGISTER
