EPW Committee Advances Legislation to Reauthorize EDA
The U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee has voted to advance the Economic Development Reauthorization Act of 2024. The legislation would reauthorize EDA for the first time in 20 years! The Act would make key reforms to modernize EDA’s core programs and authorize activities such as workforce development and disaster assistance.
