ANNOUNCEMENT

EDA Announces 23 University Centers in Austin and Denver Regions

Today, EDA is announcing 23 colleges and universities in the Austin and Denver Regions will host EDA University Center Economic Development Technical Assistance Programs.

EDA is providing a total of $16.5 million in grants to 23 colleges and universities in 14 states to administer programs to leverage their assets, promote innovation and strengthen regional economies.

There are now 73 EDA University Centers (UCs) across the country. The UCs are chosen to receive annual EDA grants for five years to support regional economic development ecosystems by providing expertise, applied research, and technical assistance. The UC competition rotates to different EDA regions each year.

Stephen F. Austin State University

University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture

University of Texas at San Antonio
