EDA Seeks Applications to Support Nuclear Closure Communities
Closures of nuclear power plants (NPPs) throughout the United States have had a significant impact on the economic foundations of surrounding communities through sudden job losses and a reduction to the local tax base. This month, EDA announced that it is deploying $15 million to support communities impacted by nuclear plant closures.
13th Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) Postponed
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the 13th Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) program that was scheduled for May 17-22, 2020 in Colorado has been postponed. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with the State of Colorado and hosting the program as soon as feasible.
