 Are you ready to join Senior Leadership from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of State as part of the United States’ Delegation for the 12th Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) in Santiago, Chile? ACE is considered to be the premier economic development, innovation, and entrepreneurial network of the Americas.
ACE brings together senior-level government, business, policy, and economic decision-makers from across the Americas and beyond to experience first-hand the diverse range of projects, strategic investments, public-private partnerships, and best practices from a particular region’s economic, innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. These top global leaders are selected to participate in a week-long program to engage with innovation hubs, advanced technology centers, leading firms, educational and research institutions and explore local, regional, urban, and rural economic development models. Through the exchange, leaders share experiences and knowledge and build networks to enhance competitiveness in the Americas. These interactions help promote sustainable and inclusive economic development initiatives and increase trade opportunities.
ACE is convened in the context of the Red InterAmericana de Comptitividad (RIAC) by its Chair Pro Tempore (revolving every two years, currently Argentina); the Government of the United States, through the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) and International Trade Administration (ITA) and the U.S. Department of State; and the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS) as the RIAC Technical Secretariat. ACE 12 is organized by the University for Development of Chile (UDD) and the Corporation for the Promotion of Production (CORFO) of the Ministry of Economy of Chile.
