The Federal Highway Administration's National Highway Institute (NHI) now offers the Basic Residential Relocation Under the Uniform Act (FHWA-NHI-141055) course, which consists of Web-based training (WBT) and Web-conference training (WCT) designed to advance knowledge and skills in relocation program expertise for in-practice application, and implementation of the Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (Uniform Act) and 49 CFR 24 requirements. Course participants will also engage in interesting case studies focused on application of the law and regulations.
Additional Information:
Each module of the training course will begin with the WBT lesson(s), which must be completed before the coinciding WCT lesson is presented for that module.

Target Audience:
The target audiences are representatives from Federal Uniform Act Agencies, State Departments of Transportation (SDOTs), Local Public Agencies (LPAs), and other interested persons. This course is designed to build proficiency in understanding and implementing the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (Uniform Act) Relocation Program and 49 CFR 24 requirements.
