Upcoming T3 Webinar: Mobility Marketplace: Integration, Integration, Integration

June 17, 1:00 - 2:30 PM ET – This is the final webinar in the Mobility on Demand (MOD) Program series. This webinar will highlight recent U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) research aimed at understanding the current state of mobility integration and developing a blueprint-style concept of operations for a MOD Marketplace platform. The MOD Marketplace is envisioned to be a fully integrated platform that enables customers to plan, reserve, purchase, and use various mobility and goods delivery services. An MOD Marketplace implementation would enhance mobility for all consumers and provide a seamless travel experience that is fully customized for each traveler and for each trip. The U.S. DOT will discuss some ongoing multimodal standards assessment work that is related to the implementation of an MOD Marketplace platform.

Archived T3 Webinar: A Framework for Connected Vehicle Privacy (3/10/2020)

To support emerging deployments of connected vehicles (CVs) across the U.S. and to understand better the privacy risks and mitigations associated with those deployments, the ITS JPO sponsored the creation of a Privacy Risk Assessment Methodology (PRAM) for CV environments. The PRAM is a tool developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) that helps organizations analyze, assess, and prioritize privacy risks to determine how to respond and select appropriate solutions. This webinar explained the benefits of the PRAM and how to use it. This webinar was a follow-up to Applying the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to Connected Vehicle Deployments, which took place on February 26.

COVID-19

From Our Partners: Transportation Experiences and Next Steps in the COVID-19 Pandemic

June 16, 2:00 - 3:30 PM ET

The world is grappling with the containment of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) until a vaccine is developed. The Transportation Research Board (TRB) will host this webinar, organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Critical Transportation Infrastructure, to discuss how planning, preparedness, and response can mitigate exposure and viral spread of communicable diseases among transportation customers and employees. Presenters will discuss their experiences on the ground. Even locations without reported cases can benefit from adapting workgroups, communication plans, and a long-term strategy to move forward.
