Electronic Fare Payment (EFP) is
the automated calculation, validation, collection, recording and reporting of
passenger fare payments using some form of electronic media for trips on a
public transportation system. The purpose of Module 10 is to provide a comprehensive overview of the standards, technologies, and techniques associated with EFP systems, as well as their associated benefits, risks, and issues. The purpose of Module 12 is to build on this knowledge in relation to the procurement and implementation of Open Payments acceptance
capability.

reconstruction methods of traffic crash sites in Kansas and Michigan.

This report describes the experiment on how to
model impacts of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) and ride-hailing with an Activity-Based Model and Dynamic
Traffic Assignment. The approach adapts the travel demand model to simulate
households’ decisions on whether to purchase CAVs instead of conventional vehicles
and to simulate travelers’ decisions on whether to use CAV-based car sharing and
ride-hailing services.
