- Percent change for gasoline for the period Jan-Oct 2017 compared to Jan-Sep 2016, was +0.5%.
- Total cumulative Gasoline was estimated at 122,129,586,554 gallons.
- Total cumulative Special Fuel (mostly Diesel) was estimated at 35,676,467,306 gallons
- The average (weighted) State motor fuel tax rate for gasoline was about 27.6 cents per gallon, and 26.2 cents for diesel.
- Federal tax remained unchanged since 1993, at 18.4 cents for gasoline and 24.4 cents diesel.
