On behalf of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), we would like to invite you to participate in our Connections MarketPlace. In honor of Black History Month, during this Meet the Mentors session you will be hearing from both the U.S. Black Chambers Inc. (USBC) and MBDA Business Center - El Paso on how to strategically leverage your black and/or minority owned small business in federal contracting.

The both the USBC and MBDA are organizations whose mission is to provide education and guidance for all aspiring black and minority owned small businesses. They also work with HUBZone, SDVOB, SDB, WOSB, DBE, and 8(a) certified companies, while teaming with Federal Agencies, Prime Contractors, and Industry Professionals to provide the outstanding assistance to the small business community.

Attendees will be able to:

• Find out what training services USBC and MBDA Business Center - El Paso provides to black and minority owned businesses

• Learn about how small businesses are currently contracting with the federal government

• Gain insight into how to effectively maximize your small business status

• Find out how either or both organizations can help you to capitalize your services

• Upcoming opportunities and advancements to assist small businesses
