Proposed Rule: Extension of Comment Period

Posted for public inspection in today’s Federal Register for publication Tuesday March 22, 2022, is a Proposed Rule; Extension of Comment Period.

Today, the document can be viewed at the Federal Register's Public Inspection web page: https://public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2022-05972.pdf.

In it, DOT is extending the comment period for its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to amend, among other things, its transportation industry drug testing program procedures regulations, 49 CFR part 40, to include oral fluid testing. The closing date for submission of comments is extended to April 29, 2022.
