A Message from Acting Director Michele Hodge Celebrating National Native American Heritage Month
Each November, we commemorate National Native American Heritage Month by honoring the unique and diverse history of American Indians and Alaskan Natives. The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and its Indian and Native American Employment Rights Program (INAERP) are committed to advancing equal employment opportunities for all American Indians and Alaska Natives this month, and all year long.
Through INAERP, we advance awareness of employment rights and job opportunities for American Indians and Alaskan Natives who work for or seek employment with companies doing business with the federal government. OFCCP remains dedicated in our efforts to:
Our staff is available to answer questions and help companies locate recruitment sources that align with their employment needs. Contact OFCCP at 1-800-397-6251 or OFCCPOutreach@dol.gov for assistance. Join us in celebrating National Native American Heritage Month as we honor the strong and enduring cultures and contributions of all Native Americans and Alaskan Natives. Review our resources and commit building relationships with American Indian and Alaskan Native communities not just in November, but all year long.
