Reminder to federal contractors to register for OFCCP’s Contractor Portal and certify AAP compliance
The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs reminds all federal contractors that meet the jurisdictional thresholds to promptly register for the Contractor Portal. In August 2021, the Office of Management and Budget approved an information collection request requiring covered federal contractors to use the OFCCP Contractor Portal to certify, on an annual basis, whether they have developed and maintained an Affirmative Action Program for each establishment and/or functional unit, as applicable.
Existing contractors must register and certify compliance for all qualifying establishments and functional/business units by June 30, 2022. As OFCCP has previously communicated, and as noted in the information collection request supporting statement, contractors that 1) fail to complete the certification, or 2) state that they have not developed or maintained an AAP, will be more likely to be on OFCCP’s scheduling list than contractors that have certified that they are in compliance.
OFCCP offers a user guide and frequently asked questions to assist contractors with registering for the Contractor Portal and certifying compliance. To prevent any delays in meeting the June 30, 2022 deadline, OFCCP encourages all contractors to begin registration and certification as soon as possible. For any technical issues, please submit an inquiry to the OFCCP Contractor Portal Technical Help Desk or call us at 1-800-397-6251 with any questions.
