Dear Stakeholder Community,
I am pleased to announce that Aida Collins will be the new OFCCP Southeast Regional Director, starting today.
Aida served as the Deputy Regional Director for the Southwest and Rocky Mountain Region (SWARM) since 2015. She started her career of public service in the United States Armed Forces. She served honorably in the U.S. Army for more than 10 years. Aida continued her public service as a civil servant with the U.S. Census Bureau, the Department of the Army and the Department of Labor. After two years as a Claims Examiner with the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, Aida joined the OFCCP team. Formerly a compliance officer in the Dallas District Office, Assistant District Director of the Houston District Office, and Director of Regional Operations in the SWARM Region, Aida has been with OFCCP for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and her Master’s from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Given her extensive OFCCP experience, Aida is well equipped to effectively implement the mission of the agency and department, and lead one of the agency’s largest regions. I look forward to working with Aida in her new role as Regional Director for the Southeast Region.
I also want to recognize and thank Melissa Speer for serving as Acting Southeast Regional Director for the past few months.
Best,
Jenny R. Yang
OFCCP Director
