OFCCP Recognizes Contractors with Certificates of Merit

As part of OFCCP’s ongoing effort to recognize federal contractors who excel at meeting their equal employment opportunity obligations, OFCCP is pleased to announce the Certificates of Merit recipients for fiscal year 2020.

OFCCP awards Certificates of Merit to contractor establishments who completed a Section 503 Focused Review and demonstrated their commitment to disability inclusion by achieving specific criteria related to meeting or exceeding the disability utilization goal. View the full criteria and list of recipients on OFCCP’s website.

The Certificates of Merit add to OFCCP’s recognition program, which currently includes the Excellence in Disability Inclusion (EDI) Award for federal contractor establishments who go above and beyond to recruit, hire, retain and advance individuals with disabilities in the workplace. The 2020 EDI Award Winners were a CVS establishment in Acton, Massachusetts, and a PepsiCo establishment in Purchase, New York.

Last week, OFCCP released its inaugural Section 503 Focused Review Report, which contains more information about these recognition programs, best practices and results from the first year of Section 503 Focused Reviews.
