As part of OFCCP’s commitment to affirmative action and efficiency in compliance evaluations, the agency announced that it would be conducting Affirmative Action Program (AAP) focused reviews. OFCCP is releasing a new landing page for AAP focused reviews that provides federal contractors with information to help them understand how these reviews will be conducted.
The AAP Focused Review will have a particular focus on the contractor’s efforts, where appropriate, to interact with colleges and universities that focus on educating minorities and with OFCCP’s Indian and Native American Employment Rights Program.
So what does this mean for you? Here is a breakdown of some of the key items now available on the landing page:
- Compliance Assistance Guides
- Resources on Minority Education Initiatives
- Frequently asked questions where you will find answers to what you can expect during an AAP focused review
In the coming months, OFCCP will update the landing page to include an AAP focused review on-site review guide, scheduling letter, and frequently asked questions.
You can learn more about focused reviews by reviewing Directive 2018-04, which established focused reviews under Executive Order 11246, Section 503, VEVRAA.
