OFCCP published the updated Federal Contract Compliance Manual (FCCM) on December 30, 2019. The Manual provides guidance for OFCCP's compliance officers in conducting compliance evaluations and complaint investigations, and provides federal contractors with compliance assistance.
It has been updated to reflect revisions to OFCCP’s regulations and practices, and to ensure transparency and provide greater clarity for the user on a number of issues. Here are some changes you'll find in the new FCCM:
- Revised to align with new directives
- Inserted new protected bases
- Added and updated language describing the Section 503 and VEVRAA nondiscrimination and affirmative action requirements
