OFCCP supports the White House Initiative on HBCUs by promoting diverse intern classes

In partnership with the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities, OFCCP is helping develop new avenues of outreach and recruitment between federal contractors and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

By encouraging contractors and stakeholders to increase outreach and recruitment activities for talented and qualified student interns at HBCUs, OFCCP is helping contractors foster more inclusive and diverse workplaces and meet their equal employment opportunity obligations. For college students, obtaining a competitive internship can lead to strong professional networks and a permanent position upon graduation.
