Created by legislation signed by President Trump in 2017, the HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal veterans’ employment award that recognizes small, medium, and large employers' commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development.

The U.S. Department of Labor will be accepting applications beginning in January 2019 for the HIRE Vets Medallion Award – the ONLY federal award for veteran hiring.
