We are less than two weeks away from National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2024! It’s easy to add your event or proclamation to the NAW website. So far, over 1,558 events and proclamations have been added and it’s not too late to add yours!
Sharing events on social media is the quickest way to spread the word and create a buzz that draws attendees and builds excitement. Don't keep the event to yourself, share it on your social media channels and use #NAW2024, #DecadeOfNAW, and #ApprenticeshipUSA. See how others are sharing NAW 2024 events on social media by visiting the NAW social media page on our website.
Share Your Event with the Media
Media outreach is key to sharing your apprenticeship program with a broader audience, highlighting your successes, and forging new partnerships. Use the NAW 2024 Promotion Toolkit to create a press release and develop a media outreach plan. As an example, read a news report that featured an event held during NAW 2023.
In addition to promoting your NAW activity with the media, visit the NAW 2024 Resources page for all the resources you need to plan or host an event, develop a proclamation and more to spread the word to the public.

Lastly, we are very excited to share our latest promotional tool, the NAW 2024 Sizzle Reel. For those who haven't heard of a "sizzle reel," it is a short, promotional video that is used to generate interest and excitement about a product, service, or project. Our NAW 2024 Sizzle Reel is available through the links noted below. We encourage you to share it with your contacts and invite them to join in the excitement that will be NAW 2024!!

Apprentice Success Story: Greg Morgan
During National Apprenticeship Week 2024, we will be sharing success stories of apprentices, like Greg Morgan, working in a wide array of industries and occupations. Greg understands the value of mentorship. The potential for learning from someone more experienced drew him to the Trane HVAC Technician Apprenticeship Program.
A Memphis native, Morgan worked in retail for several years before enrolling in a technical school where he learned the basics of heating and cooling.
After graduating, he did commercial duct work. Then he learned about the Registered Apprenticeship program at Trane. He was hired and joined the apprenticeship program in Trane’s Nashville office about a year ago.
Now he is one of the company’s vast team of technicians servicing large commercial heating and cooling units at hospitals, schools, companies, sports venues, and other sites.
“I feel lucky to have this opportunity,” Morgan said. “It feels good to fix problems for our customers. They want to be cool, so they are happy to see us.” Morgan also said one of the best parts of the experience is working with his mentor, Richard Rhea, a senior service technician and team lead. Rhea has 30 years of experience in the heating and cooling industry, including five years with Trane.
