Preventing Hearing Loss in Construction

October is National Protect Your Hearing Month and OSHA has new resources regarding hearing protection in construction, including toolbox talks: 5 Things You Need to Know about Noise (Spanish) and Hearing Conservation in Construction (Spanish) and a PowerPoint (Spanish). OSHA's Proposed Heat Rule

OSHA's proposed rule to protect workers from outdoor and indoor heat hazards was published August 30. Watch an overview video and submit comments by December 30.

A new poster, Suicide Prevention in Construction: 5 Things You Should Know, is available in English and Spanish. It was developed with support from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention.

Severe Injury Data Dashboard

OSHA's new Severe Injury Reports Data Dashboard allows users to download or view severe workplace injury data reported to OSHA since January 1, 2015.

We revised three QuickCards for Safety Data Sheets, Pictograms, and Labels to reflect the revised Hazard Communication standard that took effect July 19, 2024. All three are available in English and Spanish.
