Heat Illness Prevention Resources

We published a new fact sheet, Protecting Workers from the Effects of Heat, in English and Spanish.

Temporary Worker Bulletins

We published two new Temporary Worker Initiative Bulletins: Ergonomics for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders and Warehousing Industry Employment. Both are available in English and Spanish.

Mental Health Fact Sheet

A new fact sheet on Workplace Mental Health addresses the importance of mental well-being at work, and is available in English and Spanish.

Grain Safety Poster

The 2024 Grain Safety Stand-Up poster, in English and Spanish, is available for download.

Maritime Resources

We developed products on Preventing Fires on Vessels and Line Handling Safety. Both are available in English and Spanish.

Protecting PII Fact Sheet

Our Protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) fact sheet explains how establishments can avoid submitting PII through the Injury Tracking Application.

February 1– Employers must post the summary of injuries and illnesses recorded in 2023 from today until April 30.
February 21-22– Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health Meetings. Submit comments and requests to speak by February 15.
February 23– Deadline to submit nominations for the Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health.
March 2– Deadline for covered employers to submit 2023 injury and illness data through OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application.
March 3-9– Women in Construction Week. (See OSHA resources here.)
March 25-29– Stand Up for Grain Safety Week
April 15-19– National Work Zone Awareness Week and National Stand-Down to Prevent Struck-By Incidents

Electric Vehicle Fire Prevention

The Coordinating Committee for Automotive Repair developed a poster to protect workers in automotive repair shops from electric vehicle battery fires.

2022 BLS Injury and Fatality Data

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released its 2022 summaries of the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses Data (SOII) and Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI). See key findings, interactive charts, and more at BLS.gov.
