Fact Sheet on Expanded Reporting Requirements

A new fact sheet helps employers understand recently-expanded requirements for submitting injury and illness information electronically to OSHA beginning January 1, 2024. For more information, visit osha.gov/recordkeeping.

New Whistleblower Resources

In advance of National Whistleblower Day on July 30, OSHA has several new resources:

A new poster, Retaliation for speaking up is not ok, is available in English and Spanish.
The Whistleblower Rights Card is now available in Arabic, Karen, Somali, and Vietnamese, in addition to English and Spanish.
A new video: 5 Things to Know about Whistleblower Protection is available for streaming in English and Spanish.

Workers' Rights Card Revised and in New Languages

OSHA's Workers' Rights Vertical Wallet Card has been revised and is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Karen, Portuguese, Somali, and Vietnamese.

Heat Illness Prevention Stickers

New hard hat stickers reminding workers to stay hydrated at work are available for order in English and Spanish.

Heat Brochure in More Languages

OSHA's Prevent Heat Illness at Work brochure is now available in 20 languages. The latest translations include Czech, French, Nepali, Eastern Punjabi and Western Punjabi.

New Brochure for Loved Ones of Fallen Workers

OSHA published a new brochure, Losing a Loved One on the Job, in English and Spanish.

Suicide Prevention Video

OSHA created a video, 5 Things To Know about Suicide Prevention that complements OSHA's poster on this topic.

Welder's Anthrax Hazard Alert

OSHA's Welder's Anthrax Hazard Alert addresses a rare form form of pneumonia in welders and other metalworkers.

Small Business Handbook Now in Spanish

The revised OSHA/NIOSH Small Business Handbook is now available in both English and Spanish.

On-Site Consultation Brochure in More Languages

OSHA's On-Site Consultation Program Brochure is now available in thirteen languages: English, Spanish, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.

Silica Fact Sheets Now in Spanish

OSHA's 19 fact sheets on controlling silica dust in construction are now available in both English and Spanish.

"It's the Law" Poster in 14 Languages

OSHA's Job Safety and Health: It's the Law poster was recently translated into Somali.

Four Disease-Related Fact Sheets Now in Spanish and Polish

Four OSHA fact sheets- Avian Flu, Seasonal Flu, Disease-Carrying Ticks, and Mpox/Monkeybox- have been translated into Spanish and Polish.

August 9-10: Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) Meetings - Submit comments and requests to speak by August 3.
August 28- September 1: Labor Rights Week
September 18: Deadline to submit comments and hearing requests re OSHA's Proposed Rule on Personal Protective Equipment in Construction.
October 13: Date inspections may begin under OSHA's National Emphasis Program on Warehousing and Distribution Center Operations.

Through the OSHA and CPWR- Center for Construction Research and Training National Alliance, CPWR developed a Heat Illness Prevention Program Checklist and a Daily Heat Illness Prevention Checklist.
