An updated OSHA Alert on trench collapses is available in English and Spanish.

"It's the Law" Poster in Marshallese

OSHA's Job Safety and Health: It's the Law! poster informing employees of their rights and responsibilities is now available in thirteen languages, including Marshallese.

Longshoring Fact Sheet

OSHA issued a new fact sheet for longshoring in marine terminals: Protecting Workers during Lashing Operations.

Harwood Grant Applications

Opportunities to participate in the OSHA rulemaking process:

Massachusetts State Plan for State and Local Government Employers: Proposed Rule. Comments and requests for hearing due August 1, 2022.
Arizona State Plan: Proposed Reconsideration and Revocation: Proposed Rule. Public hearing tentatively scheduled for August 16, 2022.
Blood Lead Level for Medical Removal: Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM). Comments due August 29, 2022.

Hazard Alert Now in Spanish

A hazard alert on fluid transfer operations in the oil and gas industry is now available in both English and Spanish. This resource was produced through OSHA's national alliance with National STEPS and NIOSH.

Revised Respiratory Protection Toolkit

NIOSH revised its Hospital Respiratory Protection Program Toolkit first issued in 2015 to assist hospitals in developing and implementing effective respiratory protection programs.

NIOSH FACE Reports and Products

The NIOSH Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE) Program conducts investigations on workplace fatalities to identify the factors that contributed to these fatal injuries. New CPWR Resources

The following are recent resources from CPWR- The Center for Construction Research and Training:

Infrastructure Investment: CPWR published a safety briefing, Build Safe: Build Strong: Keeping Infrastructure Workers Safe as America Rebuilds and has devoted a new section of its website to this topic.
Construction Injuries and Fatalities: CPWR's May Data Bulletin addresses fatal and nonfatal Injuries in the construction Industry. CPWR also released three new, related CPWR Data Dashboards: fatal and nonfatal injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and falls, slips and trips. CPWR also updated three previously published injury dashboards with recent data: fatality map, Focus Four, and severe injuries.
Struck-By Incidents: Jessica Bunting, CPWR, and Brad Sant, American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) discussed construction struck-by incidents in a recent episode of WorkSAFE, a podcast hosted by Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance.
