As a subscriber to the Department of Labor’s Office of Labor-Management Standards Mailing List, you periodically receive emails from OLMS on matters such as Notices of Proposed Rulemakings, changes to the OLMS Interpretative Manual, upcoming Compliance Assistance events, and other issues of interest to the Labor and Management communities.
Commencing with this email, OLMS will send subscribers short articles written by its Director, Jeffrey Freund, on subjects such as OLMS’ enforcement activities, enforcement activities by other Department of Labor agencies, the labor movement’s important role in the modern American economy and other issues of interest to workers, the Labor and Management communities and policy makers – Federal, state and local. These articles also appear under the banner “From the Director’s Desk” on the OLMS website, which has been recently updated to reflect, in a more complete and contextualized way, OLMS’ mission and its work.
Below are links to Director Freund’s first four articles, three of which were published prior to the website redesign and the fourth contemporaneously with its launch. We invite you to share them with your colleagues and friends and to, in turn, invite them to subscribe to the OLMS Mailing List [Email Updates] if they are interested in receiving these and other OLMS News.
