If you know an employer who has hired or retained veterans in 2020 and has veteran-focused programs for their employees, they may qualify for the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award.
Businesses can qualify for the Gold or Platinum Award by hiring and retaining veterans and—for some businesses—by meeting veteran integration assistance criteria such as a veteran resource group or leadership program. The criteria vary by company size.
HIRE Vets Medallion Award recipients receive recognition from the Secretary of Labor, a certificate, digital images of the medallion to use in marketing and promotional efforts, and are highlighted at HIREVets.gov/Awardees. This can help them attract top talent by letting veterans entering the workforce spot veteran-ready businesses.
Businesses have until December 31 to qualify, so help spread the word today!
