Safe + Sound Week
Safe + Sound Week is Aug. 10-16, 2020. The week is a nationwide event held each August to recognize the successes of workplace safety and health programs. OSHA has updated the Safe + Sound Week website to include a registration form and resources to help employers plan and promote their activities.

Alliance Program Directive
OSHA has issued several resources to reflect the recently revised Alliance Program directive, including FAQs, a fact sheet, and a presentation.

Teen Workers in Construction
CPWR has issued infographics on teen workers in construction. The infographics support the #KeepTeenWorkersSafe campaign, and can be used in social media, print materials, and presentations.

NIOSH Worker Health Charts
NIOSH recently updated its Worker Health Charts to make them faster and more responsive. This page uses NIOSH and BLS information to allow users to create charts to assess current rates, distribution, and trends in workplace injuries, illnesses, and deaths

NIOSH FACE Reports and Products
The NIOSH Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE) Program conducts investigations on workplace fatalities to identify the factors that contributed to these fatal injuries. This information is used to develop comprehensive recommendations for preventing similar incidents. Harwood Grants
OSHA has posted a new video that explains the Susan Harwood Training Grants application process.

- The University of Utah developed hazard prevention training materials for workers in the oil and gas industry. Training topics included general site safety, heat stress, slips/trips/falls, low back pain, and chemical hazards/global harmonization system.

- The Port of San Diego Ship Repair Association developed materials on machinery and power tool hazards in shipyards.
