With tailored criteria for businesses of all sizes, the HIRE Vets Medallion Award Program has recognized more than 660 employers with Gold and Platinum Medallion awards. Of those, 394 are small employers, like you. Each level of the Medallion Award shows an impressive dedication to supporting those who have served in uniform.
One employer wrote this about their business’ Veteran Resource Group, a key criterion for many small businesses applying for the Medallion Award:
“Our veteran employee resource group is a fully staffed and running organization that assists veterans and spouses with onboarding/integration, mentorship, career development, outreach, community support and recruiting. The group provides a road map of success that is agreed to by the new hire and the first line supervisor. We have touch points in place to check the progress of our new hires and ensure they are set up for success.”
