JAN Training Modules

The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) has developed two new Just-in-Time training modules for its online Workplace Accommodation Toolkit, which provides employers with the tools needed to create a more disability-inclusive and compliant workplace. A wide array of resources are available in the toolkit for recruiters, hiring managers, supervisors, reasonable accommodation subject matter experts, employees, and co-workers. The new modules address retention of an individual with an intellectual disability after a supervisor change, and promotion of an individual who is deaf into a leadership position. Each scenario culminates in a solution to the situation posed. Videos showing the accommodations and solutions are accompanied by a slide presentation providing salient learning points from the video.
