Job Summary:

Users of BLS data include the public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. The BLS also serves as a statistical resource to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). As an independent statistical agency, BLS serves its diverse user communities by providing products and services that are objective, timely, accurate, and relevant. This position has no further promotion potential. This position is inside the bargaining unit. A writing sample may be required at time of interview. This position will not be filled until the Department's Placement Assistance Programs have been fully utilized.
