Kicking Off the Fiscal Year 2023
BJA Funding Season

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) kicks off the FY 2023 funding season that will once again help state, local, and tribal governments, as well as public and private entities address chronic and emerging criminal justice challenges in their communities.

BJA strongly recommends potential applicants start the System for Award Management (SAM) registration process as soon as possible. This will allow the time necessary to process entity validations well in advance of the Grants.gov due date. If you're already registered with SAM, you already have a Unique Entity ID, and must renew your registration every 365 days to keep it active.

STEPS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FUNDING APPLICATION PROCESS
Visit the JustGrants Application Submission Training Page for guidance on the next steps in the application process.
