OJJDP Observes Internet Safety Month

Internet Safety Month

June is Internet Safety Month. OJJDP joins our partners in raising awareness about Internet safety and providing resources to keep kids safe online.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children website, with support from OJJDP, offers resources about digital safety for youth, parents, communities, and educators. They include:

  • Clicky’s Internet Safety Month message
  • NetSmartz’s “Internet Safety At Home” tip sheet
  • NetSmartz’s "Into the Cloud” tool kit

OJJDP is also working to keep youth safe online by supporting 61 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces nationwide that help law enforcement develop responses to online child victimization.
