BJA will conduct a pre-application webinar for the FY 2019 STOP School Violence Grant Program solicitation to review the requirements of the program and answer questions.
This grant program seeks to address specific areas of concern related to preventing school violence and aims to increase school safety by—
- implementing training and school threat assessments and/or intervention teams to identify school violence risks among students;
- technological solutions to enable students, teachers, faculty, and community members to anonymously identify threats of school violence; or
- other school safety strategies that assist in preventing violence.
The pre-application webinar will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. eastern time.
