BJS RELEASES FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, 2020 – STATISTICAL TABLES

          WASHINGTON — The Bureau of Justice Statistics, a division of the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, today released Federal Law Enforcement Officers, 2020 – Statistical Tables.

          This report presents data on full-time federal law enforcement officers who were authorized to make arrests, carry firearms, or both. The report is the ninth in a series that began in 1993. It describes the job functions, sex, race, and Hispanic origin of federal law enforcement officers. It also provides data on the size and composition of federal law enforcement agencies.
