As a teen, Abbey Zorzi started misusing prescription drugs and heroin. While in college, she received the opportunity to go to a rehab program and has been in recovery ever since.
"My purpose in life is to help others who struggle with addiction and to show them that there is another way to live," she wrote. "No addict should ever be turned away from society. I want them to look at me and know that they don’t have to struggle anymore."
