Did You Know? High Cannabis Use Disorder Rate in Age 12-17 Marijuana Users
April 15-22 is the inaugural Cannabis Use Disorder Prevention and Awareness Week, a national educational initiative launched by Addiction Policy Forum to raise awareness about the growing impact of cannabis use and the risks associated with cannabis use disorder.
This figure is calculated by dividing the 1,219,000 marijuana users aged 12-17 with cannabis use disorder from Table 5.1A by the 2,694,000 past-year marijuana users in the age bracket from Table 1.2A.
