Although alcohol-impaired driving accounts for the majority of alcohol-related deaths among college students nationwide — it is rarely discussed on college campuses. In the most recent View from the Field, Dr. Jim Lange presents the dangers of impaired driving among college students. He explores why prevention efforts in the past have been largely unsuccessful. Dr. Lange urges the community to take part in creating an environment that not only supports prevention but also creates barriers for underage and illegal use of alcohol and drugs.
