National Leaders Headline Fentanyl Free America Summit
DEA has announced speakers for the inaugural Fentanyl Free America Summit, held in conjunction with the 2026 CADCA Mid-Year Training Institute, July 12-16 in Orlando, Florida. Attendees will hear from:
- Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche
- Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Sara Carter
- DEA Administrator Terry Cole
- Florida Sen. Ashley Moody
Held in conjunction with the 2026 CADCA Mid-Year Training Institute, the Summit will bring together thousands of CADCA attendees, along with hundreds of partners from law enforcement, public health, education, business, faith-based organizations, government, and families, for one purpose: to fight the most urgent drug threat our nation has ever faced – the fentanyl crisis.
Grounded by Fentanyl Free America’s Three Pillars – Protect, Prevent, and Support – the Summit will highlight national strategies to disrupt illicit fentanyl supply chains, strengthen prevention efforts, support families, and unify communities with a whole-of-nation response.

What Could Be Hidden on Your Kid's Phone?
Almost 95% of U.S. teens (ages 13 to 17) have access to a smartphone. While phones open up a world of possibilities, they can also create real threats, including access to illicit drugs. Parents, caregivers, and other concerned adults can protect the young people they care about by learning about the risks, knowing what to look for, monitoring behavior, and having effective conversations about being safe online.
To this end, DEA has created a series of videos designed to give parents information and skills they can use to protect their family. The videos can be watched at home, or with a group of parents and community members in a public setting such as a PTA meeting or health fair.
