Learn About DEA's Operation Warfighter Program
DEA is committed to supporting the military community and are seeking candidates nationwide. Operation Warfighter (OWF) is a non-paid temporary program developed by the Department of Defense for Recovering Service Members (RSMs).
Applicants must be American citizens who have not separated from the military — including the National Guard and Reserves. Operation Warfighter is a great opportunity for RSMs to:
- Build their resumes
- Explore employment interests
- Develop job skills
- Gain valuable federal government work experience
Warfighters are placed in DEA host offices and assigned a supervisor and a mentor. Host offices are available in many areas across the United States.
If you are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces and meet the eligibility criteria for the OWF program, we encourage you to reach out to your local OWF Regional Coordinator to enroll.
